Terms and refunds

What you are buying

The Funded Route offers two digital products: the Toolkit (worksheets, trackers and templates) and the course (self-paced written lessons, with the Toolkit included). Both are delivered online. Access is for you, the buyer, and is not to be shared, resold, or redistributed. The course includes lifetime access to the course and the updates made to it; the Reference Annex is refreshed each cycle for as long as the course is on sale.

What lifetime access means. Access for as long as the course and this business are running. It is not a promise of access for any fixed number of years, and it is not a promise that the course will be kept going indefinitely. If it is ever retired you will be told, and given a fair period to download what you can keep.

What you may and may not do with it

On payment you get a personal licence to use the material yourself. You may keep your own copies and use them for your own applications, for as long as you have access.

You may not copy it for anyone else, republish it, resell it, sub-licence it, use it to run a service of your own, or share your access link. The material, the site and the name remain ours.

Who this course is not connected to

The Funded Route is an independent educational product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Chevening, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, the University of Cambridge, the Cambridge Trust, the University of Oxford, the Clarendon Fund, the Gates Cambridge Trust, the Rhodes Trust, the United Nations or the International Criminal Court.

Every reference to any of them is descriptive: it tells you how their published schemes work. None of their names, emblems or insignia is used as a mark of ours, and nothing here is written on their behalf. Read your own award's published terms as the authority on it, always.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Farhaan Ahmed, trading as The Funded Route. By buying, you agree to them.

Which law applies

These terms, and your licence to use what you bought, are governed by English law. That does not limit or exclude any rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live. You can bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

The purchase itself is a separate contract with Paddle as the seller of record, governed by Paddle's own terms, which you agree to at checkout.

Who you buy from

Payment is handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record for the sale. In plain terms, Paddle is the seller on record for the transaction: it takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles the tax. The product itself, and your access to it, is provided by The Funded Route.

Refunds

Every purchase carries a 14-day no-questions refund. Within 14 days of buying, email support@thefundedroute.com and you will be refunded in full. You do not have to give a reason.

Two things follow from a refund:

• A refund ends your access. When a purchase is refunded, or its payment is reversed by a chargeback, access to what you bought is removed. You cannot keep the course or the Toolkit and be refunded for it.

• A refunded founding seat is not resold as founding. The founding price is for the first 50 sales made at it. A buyer whose country price is already lower pays that price and does not take a founding seat. If a founding member is refunded, that seat is not put back on sale at the founding price; the founding window is measured by the seats already claimed, and a refund does not reopen it.

After 14 days, purchases are not refundable.

Honest limits

The course improves your odds of a funded place; it does not promise one, and no part of this sale is a guarantee of admission, a scholarship, or any outcome. What you are paying for is the system, the sequencing, and the self-review tools, described in full on the product pages.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the updated version will be posted here, and it will apply to purchases made after it is posted.
